Yard Manager - Doncaster

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and manage a team of yard operatives
• Plan and oversee the safe delivery, unloading and processing of vehicles
• Ensure all assets are recorded accurately and processed in line with client SLAs
• Liaise with internal departments (Transport, Valeting, Stock Control) for smooth operations
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist in client reporting
• Deliver excellent customer service onsite and via phone/email
• Manage space allocation and anticipate logistical challenges

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience managing operational teams in a yard or logistics environment
• Strong understanding of vehicle handling, plant machinery, and forklift operation
• Knowledge of H&S and safe working procedures
• Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills
• Confident in problem-solving and making operational decisions under pressure
