We are now recruiting for a Shunter / Yard Operative to join our friendly team in Tankersley.

Duties and Responsibilities

To receive instructions from line supervisor and management regarding order of work and washing trailers
Check vehicles in and out of system.
Keep records of damages.
To Shunt vehicles around the yard.
To work as required at any other function for which the employee is trained and competent.
To complete yard checks from time to time
To communicate with reception regarding vehicle arrivals & collections
To maintain workshop & yard cleanliness (wherever possible and time allows)
To grit pathways and remove snow / ice in winter conditions
To carry out any other general housekeeping duties that you see need doing
