Key Purpose of the Job:

  • To raise accurate invoices for payment from customers, warranty, and retail & maintenance customers (R&M)
  • Meet business targets and SLAs for WIP, claims, rejections, query resolution and warranty debts
  • Ensuring all Mercedes-Benz UK and ICTV standards are met
  • To positively represent the company and the Brand as a whole both internally and externally.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the work flow using ewip, back office, prioritise own work, from oldest to newest build invoice using kerridge and wis asra and release (automatically) in to eva
  • Receive all job cards with agreed items and input all claims details i.e. labour item codes and parts numbers and produce invoice, ensuring that all claims are transmitted
  • Check any rejected claims and resubmit errors or in conjunction with manager investigate why rejected
  • Assisting credit control and the line manager to solve warranty debt
  • Prepare and manage estimates and progressing in a timely manner when required
  • Problem solving - Agree improvements and implement correction
  • Ensuring all tasks completed to a high standard
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to all managerial requests
  • Complete admin tasks and management reporting to a high standard within agreed timeframes
  • Set a professional example at all times when dealing with customers and colleagues

Experience:

  • Proven track record in warranty /service contract administration
  • Preferred experience of working in automotive service operation or in a comparable role
  • General IT knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Kerridge, Eva, Zentry.
  • Basic knowledge of trucks, specifically Mercedes-Benz Trucks
  • Understanding of compliance associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of service-relevant applications
